Birth Doula Services
Doula Package 1
For the independent family that just desires support in labor. Please only choose this option if you are confident in your own research and choices and only desire to have a support person for the time of labor.
1 1-2 hr prenatal appointment to go over your birth vision, get to know each other, and to show me your home and birth kit.
On call 24/7 beginning at 37 weeks until delivery
In labor support beginning in active labor until 1to 2 hours postpartum

Doula Package 2
For the family that wants a support person to help navigate birth choices, prepare for labor, and support before , during, and after labor.
3 prenatal appointments to discuss birth vision, get to know one another, show me your home and birth kits, discuss birth options, preparation for labor, and discuss/work through anything else you need.
Text/phone support as well as possible additional prenatal meetings to work through emotions, fears, questions, or physical needs.
On call coverage 24/7 beginning at 37 weeks until delivery.
In labor support when you feel you need me until about 1 to 2 hours postpartum.
1 Postpartum visits to help with breastfeeding and to process through birth and postpartum.

Photo Add-On
As you may well be aware, I am also a birth photographer. While I would love to be able to offer both services at the same time, the reality is that the roles are so different that I feel that I cannot do either to my best ability when trying to switch back and forth. However at some births, my support isn't as hands on and I do find I could pick up my camera to capture some special memories. If you would like to add photography to your doula package, you will pay for the package up front with the understanding that I might not be able to capture anything depending on the nature of your birth. If I am unable to capture at least 20 photos during labor and birth for you, then the add-on fee will be returned to you.
